DJ JUDGE-I-RANKIN
Judge-I-Rankin' got his start in print as a reggae music editor for the Phoenix New Times in 1982, later moving to Spin Magazine and the El Paso Herald-Post before getting in front of a microphone in 1992 on El Paso's community-supported station KXCR with his reggae show Downbeat The Ruler. Since then, the Judge has brought the "lik shot on the one drop riddims" to audiences in clubs and most recently online radio at All Access Radio, Revolution Radio, Under the Radar Radio, Live 365, and now right here at Mixed Beatz Radio.

DJ REX
Rex is a Florida native whose life has been shaped by service, resilience, and an unwavering love of music. A retired police officer and U.S. Army combat veteran, he proudly served his country during Operation Desert Storm, carrying forward lessons of discipline, strength, and gratitude.
After completing his service, Rex pursued a career in law enforcement before transitioning into the healthcare industry, where he continues to help others with the same dedication that has defined his life. Whether supporting patients or colleagues, he brings compassion, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose to his work.
Beyond his professional path, Rex is deeply passionate about the music that defined his generation. From smooth R&B to hip-hop classics of the 80s, 90s and the early 2000s, he finds energy, creativity, and peace in the sounds that shaped his youth. Music is his outlet—his way of reconnecting, reflecting, and keeping the good vibes alive.
Rex invites others to come along on this journey with him. Whether through music, life stories, or shared experiences, he’s all about connection, positivity, and having a little fun along the way.
